The band features different ensembles, but we work best as a full concert band.
Don't be fooled by the name: the Military Band of the 48th Highlanders is a civilian band, and our repertoire is not limited to martial music. We play anything from classical to pop, movie to big band, and dixieland to musicals.
If you let us know the style or theme of your event, we will select music accordingly. We simply ask that you give us as much time as possible, as the band is booked up months in advance, especially during popular periods.
A marching band to lead your parade
Typical events could include Remembrance/Veterans Parades, Homecoming/Send-Off parades, highland fairs, cadet unit inspections.
